Salon Etiquette & Policies with Cynthia Gonzalez
At Root & Ritual, I want every guest to feel cared for and enjoy their time in the chair. To keep things running smoothly for you and all of my clients, please take a moment to review these guidelines before booking:
No Refunds
All services are final. No refunds will be given.
Running Late
I understand that life happens—traffic, babysitters, work! If you’re running more than 10–15 minutes behind, please call or text. I’ll always do my best to adjust, but sometimes we may need to shorten or reschedule your service.
No-Shows
If you can’t make it, please let me know. Missed appointments without notice make it difficult to accommodate other clients. After repeated no-shows, I may require in-person pre-booking or limit future bookings.
Cancellations
Please give at least 24–48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows me to offer the appointment to another guest.
Feeling Sick?
If you’re under the weather, I kindly ask that you reschedule. Your health (and mine!) always comes first—I’ll be happy to find you another appointment once you’re feeling better.
Guests & Children
To keep the salon a calm and safe space, please no extra guests or children unless they have an appointment.
Transparency with Hair History
A thorough consultation is part of every service. Please be open and honest about your hair history so I can safely and realistically achieve the best results for you.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to respectfully decline service if necessary.
